The Wheat Ridge Recreation Center is a 70,000-square-foot public recreation facility that strives to offer opportunities for community involvement through its numerous fitness and recreation venues for those of all ages. In addition to the many amenities that the fitness area offers––such as an aerobic and dance room, a walking and jogging track and a weights and fitness area––the aquatic area has something for everyone.

The 8-lane, 25-yard lap pool can be used for competitive swimming as well as recreational swimming. The leisure pool caters to swimmers of all ages thanks to its large waterslide, frog slide, lazy river, fountains and tumble buckets. The south end of the pool offers a zero depth entry for easy access for families. WTI was proud to provide design and engineering services for the great community of Wheat Ridge when community recreation centers began their rise in popularity in the Denver area.
