Charles “Chuck” Neuman, founder of Water Technology, Inc., has a broad range of experience in the design and construction of aquatic facilities, which have been greatly diverse in size, scope and function. They include indoor and outdoor, public and private projects varying from public family aquatic centers to large commercial waterparks. Chuck has been personally involved in projects from conceptual planning through design and development of the engineering and mechanical designs to pool start-up and operations. Participation in the industry and a “hands-on” role in the company have resulted in new and innovative design placing Water Technology, Inc. at the leading edge of aquatic industry standards and development.

Nicholas S. Neuman -
Project Development
Bachelor of Science, Construction - University of Wisconsin - Stout, Menomonie, WI Nicholas Neuman is responsible for Project Development at Water Technology. Nicholas Neuman’s primary role is to develop and expand the commercial, entertainment and design/build sectors of the business. He is focused on customer relationships in addition to the development of the entertainment division’s staff, processes, and value to the client. Having traveled the globe extensively to meet with developers of waterparks, leisure resort destinations and themed attractions, Nicholas has a solid understanding of cultural influences on concept development, design, project management, on-site construction and operation of aquatic facilities, all critical to his role in Project Development in the United States and around the world.

Terri directs the firm’s business administration, management, marketing/business development, finance, and all design and operations efforts. She actively participates in all aspects of the design firm, and her hands-on resourcefulness has assisted the Principals in creating a unique culture that supports design innovation. Terri has a solid understanding of the industry and the dynamics of an aquatic design firm and its operations.

Douglass G. Whiteaker, President and Principal of Water Technology, Inc., has extensive knowledge and experience in the aquatic industry. He is dedicated to the planning, design, engineering and construction of aquatic facilities, and his engaging personality helps to facilitate a two-way sharing process with our clients. Doug helps the team to understand unique project demographics and public needs which ultimately results in team ownership of the project, producing the ultimate in project excellence. He excels in managing integrated project delivery teams, and his hands-on management abilities energize effective collaboration. Ultimately, his goal is to ensure that the needs and expectations of the client are exceeded.
Mr. Whiteaker leads projects of great diversity in size, scope and function including colleges and universities, athletic and wellness centers, YMCA’s, community developments, family aquatic centers, and waterparks. Renowned for his knowledge for recreational water treatment systems, Mr. Whiteaker provides insight into emerging technologies for pristine water quality. His academic background in biochemistry and decades of practical experience in the design and construction of aquatic facilities proves to be an invaluable resource.

Mike has been involved in the development and operations of themed entertainment projects around the world and is an industry veteran who is qualified to provide expertise in all stages of projects from planning through construction, equipment procurement and operations startup. He has worked with many top themepark companies including Six Flags, Universal Studios, and NBGS International and has been involved in numerous waterpark projects including Wild Wadi-Dubai, Loret Waterworld-Spain, and Gaylord Palms Resort-Florida USA.

Amin Rashmani -

Amin joined Water Technology, Inc. in January 2010 with a proven track record of success in the design and management of complex and innovative projects. His role is to develop, manage, and oversee all of Water Technology’s Middle East projects from conceptual planning to construction management and supervision. Amin is a multi-skilled individual - exceptional in leveraging his technical/design background with his business sense while focusing on quality and results. He has hands-on international work experience in the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, and throughout the United States. His extensive travels have enabled him to gain a solid understanding of cultural influences on design, management and operation of aquatic facilities. His ability to speak French, English and Arabic enables him to communicate across several regions. Mr. Rashmani is a member of the Lebanese Order of Architects and Engineers, a NSPF Certified Pool/Spa Operator®, and a LEED AP (accredited professional).

Brad Mallon joined Water Technology, Inc. in early 1999 with more than eight years of management and design/engineering experience in the manufacturing field, both nationally and internationally. His technical ability along with hands-on experience in mechanical environments is utilized on projects of all sizes. Mr. Mallon works closely with Senior Designers on the most intricate projects. His primary role is project management and leading the mechanical design team on municipal projects. Bradley’s past management experience, along with aquatic design experience are resources used daily in his capacity as Director of Design and Production for the WTI municipal sector projects.

Prior to joining Water Technology, Inc. Brian gained five years of experience in civil and environmental consulting, including swimming pool planning, engineering and design, commercial and industrial site design, as well as stormwater management planning and design. Mr. Freber brought his knowledge to the Water Technology, Inc. team in 1998 and has become a valuable asset. Excelling in his role as Project Manager of waterpark projects and coordinating with in-house staff and various consultants, Brian has been promoted to Director of Engineering and Project Management.

Dean Mueller has been a Project Manager at Water Technology, Inc. since 1988. His project involvement has ranged from programming and conceptual planning through construction completion, endowing him with experience that has led to a wealth of knowledge and understanding of municipalities’ design issues and unique programming needs. Dean has been an integral part of aquatic facilities successfully designed for communities and private enterprises across the United States. Mr. Mueller continues to lead projects as Project Leader and has taken on the role of Water Technology’s Senior Design Manager. In this position he has been able to share his insight into the design of both indoor and outdoor municipal pools, and larger commercial waterparks with the Design Team.

Haley joined the Water Technology Inc. team in April of 2004 and is responsible for coordinating, overseeing and managing projects from the concept design stage through construction. She coordinates with clients, architects and other consultants from early stages of the project through construction. She has played a key role in a wide range of new and renovation projects from therapy pools to large family aquatic centers and waterparks, both indoor and outdoor. Haley also functions as a mechanical designer for her projects. Her extensive exposure to aquatic facilities is a proven asset to Water Technology, Inc.

He joined the WTI team in 1997 and has been involved in over 200 aquatic projects. His project experience ranges from conceptual planning to construction management. Registered as an Architect in 22 states, Mr. Freeby is also a LEED Accredited Professional and has an advanced depth of knowledge in green building practices and sustainable aquatic design and operations.

With 16 years of experience in consulting municipal clients and managing municipal construction projects, Mike joined Water Technology, Inc. as a Project Manager and Engineering Technician in 2006. He understands the multiple tasks that are involved with a successful construction project. Working with clients and consultants, he directs the Production and Construction Administration of the project. Mike serves as the primary contact with the client during these phases, documents the client’s desires as design decisions and clearly communicates them to the project team.

When Scott LeMonds joined Water Technology, Inc. in 1999, he brought with him over twenty years of experience in design and construction. As Project Manager, Scott has directed many successful projects from initial programming and conceptual design phases through construction administration. During the project, Scott works closesly with architects, engineers, and project owner to answer questions and review electrical, plumbing and mechanical drawings. By staying in close contact with each key player during the process, Scott is able to minimize change orders that might otherwise occur. His leadership, creative problem solving, total project coordination, and mechanical skills make him a great asset to every project.

Utilizing his creative and unique design abilities, Aaron translates desired visions into realities with his forward thinking designs. His designs focus on creating an aquatic destination that engage and entertaint guests of all ages.

Adam Pfister has worked in various aspects of Landscape Architecture from environmental and urban design and image editing for the nonprofit organization to commercial and residential design. In 2005, he joined the staff at Water Technology, Inc. to develop projects from the programming and conceptual design phases. Once the design program and planning objectives report is complete, Adam uses his design experience to translate these into a preferred plan that embodies the objectives and budget. He refines this plan and develops a conceptual graphic plan format of the proposed aquatic facility. Adam's design experience spans the gamut including Olympic level competition pools, therapy and wellness pools, private resort leisure pools, and public municipal pools. Adam is a NSPF certified Pool/Spa Operator.

background includes commercial arts, industrial design, and technical illustration,
in addition to mastering Autodesk programs including Revit and Autocad. In 2003, Roderick spoke on behalf of Autodesk University.

Claude Rogers has focused his landscaping architecture career in the area of park, recreation, swimming pool and waterpark planning, design and construction. In 1992, he joined the staff of Leisure Concepts & Design, Inc. (now the Chicago-based office of Water Technology, Inc.) as Senior Design Consultant - Landscape Architect. Throughout his practice since 1969, clients have included local, state and federal agencies throughout the country. Claude’s creative expertise in the conceptual design of aquatic facilities is recognized by the successful implementation of over 200 design projects. Several of his recent aquatic projects have won national awards for excellence of design.

Brad’s responsibilities include design and management of projects from concept to construction administration, providing design services for the site, landscape and the building structure.

Skilled in the use of leading Illustration/Design software, Art Markers, strong hand drawing capabilities and an eye for design. Mr. Speake’s impressive aquatic design experience and his ability to make use of all possible resources, coupled with his ability to adapt to the industry’s changing needs and trends, are just a few of the reasons that he is able to consistently design unique facilities that best meet the clients needs and vision. Ryan continues to conduct educational seminars for numerous industry organizations and, as an NSPF® Instructor, he has trained and certified aquatic professionals since 2007. Noah joined the WTI team as Network Administrator in 2008. Noah is responsible for the maintenance and support of WTI’s computer systems, networks and telephone system. His duties include, adding and configuring new workstations, setting up user accounts, installing system-wide software, virus prevention, allocating mass storage space and troubleshooting.

Tracey joined the WTI team in 1999 and is the front line "voice" of the company fielding all incoming calls and routing them to the appropriate party. Between phone calls, Tracey is an expert multitasker. Her duties include a wide variety of office administration including assisting Project Managers with submittals and reports, professional registration maintenance, formatting documents, meeting and calendar coordination, office supply inventory, flight reservations for all traveling employees, as well as coordination of catering needs for the many internal meetings and events at Water Technology.
