YMCA/YWCAs have long recognized the value of swimming to their membership. With a rising demand for programs and activities and the responsibility of meeting financial goals, YMCA/YWCAs across the country are meeting that challenge by renovating their existing traditional facilities and creating new family friendly environments. Demands for time at these facilities continue to grow, and the competition between interests has made it nearly impossible to meet these demands. Combining an aquatic leisure environment along with the traditional, educational, fitness and therapeutic amenities, YMCA/YWCAs have enjoyed increased attendance, revenues and member satisfaction.
